Squirrel is my given name, but not my birth name.  I have some health problems that brought my life to a halt.  I've had to slow down and do things differently.  Then, after 37 and a half years of marriage, my wife passed away.  That was the worst hell and pain that I have ever gone through, but I rejoice that  The Lord had given me proof through the years that she was saved.  I know I will see her again.  Then God, in His timing, sent me a wonderful little woman that He has used to help me heal from the pain of losing my wife, and has given me the desire to live again.  That little woman is Sunshine, and we got married on January 14, 2023, and life has never been the same since I met her.  

God knows our pain, our troubles, our needs, and He knows us better than we know ourselves.  I didn't know Sunshine and she didn't know me, but God knows us both.  God knows how to reach you where you are, and He knows how to meet your needs even when you think all hope is gone.  We both put Jesus first in our lives, and Jesus gives us more real love for each other.  

There are many people who think they need to clean themselves up before they try church, but they feel out of place in a church.

Why are you trying to fool God who already knows more about you than you know about yourself, and He still loves you?  All you can do is come to God just the way you are and let Him clean you up from the inside out.  That is the only change that lasts.
